SISTEM, and 24 other companies and entities in the sector, have collaborated and joined synergies to create a unique BIM classification for the railway sector in Spain, promoted by the Railway Innovation Hub
The diffusion of the railway BIM classification promoted by the Railway Innovation Hub begins.
SYSTEM, A company of the CPS Group, in line with the drive for innovation from the RIH and the rest of the associated companies, we inform you of the successful completion of the initiative of the LE BIM strategic line focused on carrying out a railway BIM classification.
This classification will allow the promotion of the work methodology BIM “Building Information Modeling” in civil works, as well as the use of the digital twin. All this focused on the digitization of infrastructures.
The interest in the work carried out by Spanish companies with a high level of knowledge at the national and international level must be highlighted. Knowledge of railway infrastructure throughout its life cycle, as well as its commissioning and safety analysis in accordance with applicable national and European regulations.
The companies that have participated in this innovative initiative, in addition to INECO and GRANT THORNTON as coordinators, are: SISTEM, ABENGOA-INABENSA, ACTISA, AKKA, APOGEA, AYESA, AZVI, BELGORAIL, CEMOSA, COMSA, DASSAULT SYSTÈMES, ENYSE, FCC CONSTRUCCIÓN, FERROVIAL, IN SITU ENGINEERING, INGREEN, SDEA SOLUTIONS, SENER and SIEMENS; the CETEMET and TECNALIA technology centers; as well as the COLEGIO DE ENGENIEROS DE CAMINOS, CANALES Y PUERTOS DE MADRID. Additionally, various infrastructure administrators and operators such as ADIF, FGV, FGC, ETS or AOPJA or consultants such as Ingreen have collaborated as Stakeholders.
