ECCENTRIC PROJECT

With the Platform for the identification of perceived risk in terms of Road Safety in Madrid we focus on detecting what citizens think about a multitude of aspects related to traffic, road conditions, signage, and any other road safety issue.

In order to do this, the comments on social networks and the suggestions and claims directed to the Town Hall with a semantic analysis engine that determines the feeling of said mentions and maps them on the map. This technology is complemented with technical machine learning for the training of the system and the graphic representation of the monitored terms.

The Eccentric project is developed within the framework of CIVITAS, an initiative of the European Union funded by the Horizon 2020 research framework program, which promotes better and cleaner transport in cities. Within the framework of this initiative, innovative measures have been tested and implemented with which to improve sustainable mobility, providing solutions in its five laboratory areas, located in the cities of Stockholm, Madrid, Munich, Ruse and Turku.
